Update 2.0.0

Last update: 29.10.2026

We've made long cases easier to view and improved cases from the "Calls" channel. We've also fixed issues with opening images within messages and notes, filter and system note display, scrolling in asynchronous cases, notifications, and error text in post-based channels.

Improvements

1. Calls channel cases

  • Default case subjects (for example, "Missed call from…", "Outgoing call to…") are now shown in the app's interface language;
  • Fixed the channel icon color in the case list.

2. Collapsing long cases

In email and asynchronous custom channel cases, long threads now collapse, as in the web version: only the first and last messages are shown, and the middle of the conversation is hidden under the "Expand responses" button. After you tap it, the hidden messages expand and the list scrolls to the last one.

Due to changes in Android, you can no longer choose a notification sound in the Deskie app settings. You can now choose a sound separately for chats and cases in "System notification settings".

Fixed bugs

  • In asynchronous channels, images added to the reply text were displayed but couldn't be opened. They now open in the built-in viewer;
  • An image added to the note text was downloaded to the device right away. It now opens in the built-in viewer;
  • When opening an email case, the convsersation scrolled to the beginning or the middle instead of the last reply or note;
  • In emails with complex layouts, scrolling wasn't smooth and the list could jump back to the beginning of the reply;
  • After updating the app, filter numbers were displayed instead of filter names in the filter list;
  • In asynchronous channel cases, the system note about creating a child case had no link to it and showed an incorrect icon;
  • In a child case from an asynchronous channel, the link to the parent case showed as its ID instead of its subject;
  • All notification settings were reset after logging back in to the account.

P. S. If you run into any issues, please email to [email protected] with a detailed description of the problem (ideally a screencast), the exact Android version, the device model, and the app version.
