Holidays for groups and agents

Deskie has long had the ability to set up separate sets of business hours for different groups or agents, but holidays used to be common for everyone.

Now you can create sets for the holidays, too.

The priority logic remains the same as in the business hours settings:

  • if holidays are defined for a specific group, they have a higher priority than holidays for "all groups";

  • if holidays are defined for a specific agent, they have a higher priority than holidays for a specific group or for "all groups".

Separate holiday settings will help to properly set up auto-responses about holidays through automation rules (examples for emails and chats), as well as to get more accurate statistics since holidays are not taken into account when calculating speed indicators.
