From time to time, you might need to share correspondence from a case with colleagues who don’t have access to Deskie, or send it to customers or external contractors.
Until now, this was only possible using screenshots, third-party plugins, or the API. Screenshots are not so convenient – for instance, there’s no easy way to copy text from an image. Third-party plugins aren’t always secure, and in both cases, you had to figure out how to hide internal information, such as agent notes, etc. Exporting via API required developer involvement.
The export is now available in PDF or HTML formats. The resulting file includes all messages, images, and links to attachments. Before exporting, you can choose whether to include internal notes in the file.
